I took my Persian Rug into Shabahang and Sons for cleaning. It was soiled from use and a dog had peed on it. It needed a good cleaning. When I picked it up off of the floor I tried to pull it from underneath a chair. I gave it a good tug and then had to move the chair. When I brought the rug into the store they pointed out damage I had created and the dog pee spots. I was told it might not be possible to fix the damage and I would have to wait for the rug for three to four weeks. This seems to be quite standard for getting a good rug cleaned. Two weeks after I dropped it off, they called me and said the rug was ready. They repaired the damaged area to almost perfect and it looks clean and beautiful again. I also had a very interesting talk with the owner on Middle Eastern Rugs, both how they are are woven and dyed. He was able to tell me how each nation, clan of people and groups of clans each design their rugs. A very interesting and satisfying experience.

My wife and I took our beloved dining room rug in for a cleaning and some care. We could not be more pleased with their work. Our rug looks like new and the entire process was easy and convenient. Their staff unloaded and loaded the rug from and to our car with great care and courtesy. BONUS: We fell in love with a new round rug for our front entryway while we were there. We dropped one of our Persian rugs off to be cleaned that was VERY soiled. Shabahang did the most wonderful job cleaning it. The colors are so vibrant, better than I've ever seen them. It only took about a week and the pricing is more than reasonable. We are super happy with the results. We will be using them to clean all of our Persian rugs!

I found my dream rug from a local thrift store, but it was very stained and smelled bad. I took a risk on it and brought it to Shabahang and Sons for a clean. They were confident that they could make it look

beautiful and they did. They washed it twice to make sure it was stain-free and also cut a custom carpet pad for me to fit the irregular shape of my carpet. It smells great now and is just what I wanted. On top of making my rug look like new, the customer service was outstanding. They carried everything to and from my car and everyone was friendly and enthusiastic. The store is also beautiful and I'd definitely return to shop for a rug if I ever need one in the future. I met Ben through a friend of mine and was immediately impressed with his warmth, sincerity and knowledge. Some time later, we spilled some paint on our beautiful 3"x8" runner. We tried to clean it off, to no avail. We took it to Shabahang and Sons and spoke with Ben. He explained that our rug would have to be cleaned and very possibly stretched. When we picked it up, Ben told us that he was able to clean it, without stretching it (saving us $$$'s). The rug looks absolutely beautiful. If we were to purchase a rug, or would have to have one of our rugs serviced, there is no other place we would go to. Their professionalism and honesty is without parallel. Thank you Ben! I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, but found three good candidates. The best part was that Mr. Shabahang offered to bring the rugs to my home so I could see them in my space. Once on the floor there was no doubt that I had found the perfect unique carpet for my home. The next day, they returned with a pad. I have wasted lots of money buying inexpensive rugs online….most of which were “not quite right.” Only by seeing the rug in your home can you actually know. The whole experience with Shabahang was low stress and enjoyable. I highly recommend Shabahang and Sons.

From the moment I called to have my oriental rug cleaned to the time of delivery my experience with Shabahang Rugs was exceptional! Furthermore, I had a blue dyed stain that I was certain would not be able to be removed and I was ecstatic when my rug was delivered looking as prestine, fresh, vibrant, soft and gorgeous as the day I bought it almost 10 years ago! I have pretty much been to all the rug stores in Milwaukee and Chicago and Shabahang and Sons tops them all. Every time I go and visit their shop I end up buying one of the their amazing rugs. Fantastic Service and great Quality in Rugs. I really enjoyed shopping at Shabahang and Sons. They are very knowledgeable Rug Dealers and they have a great selection of rugs to chose from. This rug store is like a museum. There is so many rugs to chose from, and every rug is unique. We went through 2 piles of rugs (Looked at 100+ 8 X 10 size rugs) and we found a piece that we fell in love with. They worked out a very good price for us and they offered to bring the rug to our house and install it just the way we want it. So now we have a living room with style which spend a lot of free time there. I have been purchasing Persian rugs for about 20 years and I recently purchased my first rug from Shabahang & Sons. This was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Their inventory is superior to any I have seen in the city. Behzad Shabahang, who assisted me, is extremely knowlegeable, but doesn’t “romance the rugs” with a lot of bs the way many dealers do. And while their rugs aren’t cheap, I found them to be an excellent value for the price. I have been a collector of antiques and art for years, and started collecting Persian rugs about 10 years ago. How fortunate I have been to find Shabahang and Sons!
